Mikey's passion for the spotlight began as early as the fourth grade when he performed his very first singing solo during his School’s Veteran’s Day Concert. As a young performer Mikey was selected for the Massachusetts Music Educators' Association’s Northeast District Boys Chorus, the Quinebaug Valley Music Festival Honors Orchestra, and the Boston Symphony Orchestra DARTS program held in Tanglewood, Mass.
Mikey's acting career also started at a young age. His first acting roles were in the sixth grade and seventh grades as Dr. Forrest Crump in the comedy "Chicago ERR" and as Romeo in "Romeo & Julie" Both performances earned him Massachusetts Educational Theater Guild’s Outstanding Acting Awards.
Mikey is a graduate of the Rectory School and a Cum Laude graduate of The Winchendon School. He is currently a Bachelor of Fine Arts student with an emphasis in acting, and a minor in history, at Texas Christian University College of Fine Arts Department of Theatre. In recognition of his academic excellence, Mikey received the prestigious designation as a Texas Christian University Scholar.
Mikey has been cast for roles in several TCU’s productions. Including roles in Sister Act and A Streetcar Named Desire. He is also a defenseman on the Horned Frogs hockey team. TCU plays in the North Division of the Texas Collegiate Hockey Conference (TCHC) of the American Collegiate Hockey Association (ACHA).
Mikey's special skills include seventeen years playing ice hockey, four years playing lacrosse, licensed motorcycle operator, singer and advanced saxophone and basic guitar.
